It's been far too long since i have last updated my blog. But i feel it's time to bring it back just in the knick of time for summer. I have a lot planned and a lot of places to go, such as Finland & possibly France, which could be interesting.

My film camera (Olympus OM-2) has currently failed me. It is lying on the floor of my room gathering dust, as the shutter has jammed, it breaks my heart to see it in such a state. But i have promised myself to get it sorted out soon as it has been the most greatest camera i have ever used.

Alot has changed since i last posted here. I now have 2 jobs, I work in a camera shop and i also work in a music venue by night, which is pretty sweet really, i cant really complain.

Another reason to why my lack of inspiration and motivation came to a halt is because my mac's hard drive decided to fail. Therefor me loosing around 15 thousand photographs and a array of other things. I managed to recover most of the photographs and store them away, but i plan on getting most of them printed and put in a few photograph books for safe keeping and something to look after a few years.

I plan on either getting a Macbook pro or an iMac if i can be fucked to buy a desk and start organising myself, probably will have to make a trip to ikea and splash out on some nice things, including stealing a shit load of there pencils.

I feel pretty bad for not updating in such a long long time, it's a new era as for old things finishing and new things beginning. I have alot to update and upload, so i'm going to start with a day out in London to get some photographs of my friend Tom getting tattoo'ed by Matty D'Arienzo.

On Saturday me and Tom headed over to Brighton for the Brighton Tattoo Convention, he got tattoo'ed by Sam Ricketts, a super talented artist. Here's some snaps taken on the OM-2.

The time to start skating again has arrived! went out with the same old crew for a good session in the local carpark, took some snaps while i was there. I'm really getting into the multiple exposures now!

Went for a walk with my good friends Lloyd and Ben, i tried out some multiple exposure which worked out well (first photo). I also got pretty lucky with a sly light leak which i quite like.

Went for another adventure today through the 'north down ways', had a good couple of cameras on me, but all these were shot with my new Olympus OM-2, anyone who is looking to invest in a new camera should check them out, im in love with it already.

Went on a nice walk through the local countryside with my girlfriends family and the dogs. Took my instax with me, for a few quick shots of anything interesting. I defiantly found something interesting, the second photo down is a split black bin liner full of some smelly chronic.

Went out in the sun today for the first time in 2 weeks today, was good not be stuck in a artificially lit space for 8 hours.

I haven't posted in almost a month, because i generally have been so busy, and there's been no time to take photo's what so ever. I bought this new camera on christmas eve called the Instax 210, i did some research on it and it looked like a good investment, its a modern day instant camera (polaroid) but the prints are wider and more detailed. I'm pretty happy with it as the photo's do come out pretty sharp and clean with no faded colours etc. Here's some shots i took new years eve and new years day, i should be taking this thing out for a proper shoot soon, just waiting for the sun to pop out of the clouds.

i have completely been up to my eyes in work, it's a shit 9-6 job every five days a week. I have barely been able to get out and take any photo's, and as it's also dark in the evenings which dose not help things, so i have been sketching and drawing alot recently, i almost have a moleskin half filled with random bits and bobs. This is one of the pages from the book, i should be scanning in alot more soon.

Spent the weekend in brighton with some old friends, and met some new ones. It was a lovely break from the hometown Guildford. Shot some film up there and here's a few images from Saturday and Sunday, wish they were sunny days but you cant have everything!

Went to the University Fee's protest today with my girlfriend, had a lovely time, it got pretty nasty towards the end though, but these are some photo's i took using my MG 35mm, was good fun. Email me if you want the Hi-res photo's for any articles regarding the protest.

This is from a long time ago, it's from when i was still in college and i accidently leant on my shutter button, it happened to be in focus and the right exposure, so this is why i feel this has a place on the blog!
